Why M2

Why your training provider matters

Your employees are investing significant time in certification preparation, and your organization is investing in their development. The training provider matters. As a PMI Authorized Training Partner, M2 delivers official PMI course content through an authorized instructor with both project management credentials and real operating experience.

01

Official PMI Curriculum

Your team trains with PMI-developed course content aligned to current certification requirements, rather than third-party summaries or recreated materials.

02

Recognized Training Hours

Participants complete the required education hours through a PMI Authorized Training Partner and receive the documentation needed to support their certification application.

03

Authorized Instruction + Real-World Experience

The course is led by a PMI Authorized Instructor who also brings more than two decades of experience across project delivery, product, technology, operations, governance, PMOs, and executive leadership.

PMI authorization establishes the training standard. M2 adds the practitioner perspective. Participants learn the framework while also hearing how project management decisions show up in real organizations, with real stakeholders, constraints, priorities, and accountability.

How it works

Built around your team's calendar

Private cohorts give your organization control over when and how training happens. We work with you to structure the required education hours around your team's responsibilities, operating calendar, and preferred delivery format. Consecutive days, split weeks, evenings, and weekend-based formats can all be considered.

01

Define the Need

We discuss your team, experience levels, certification goals, group size, preferred timing, and whether PMP or CAPM is the right path for each participant.

02

Build Your Cohort

We recommend the training structure and propose dates that work around your team's commitments. Training can be delivered live online or on-site.

03

Train & Prepare

Participants complete live PMI-authorized instruction, receive official PMI course materials and practice resources, and leave with a clear path toward the certification application and exam.

You work directly with M2 from the first conversation through delivery. There is no separate sales handoff or scheduling desk. Once we understand your needs, we can quickly determine the right training structure, availability, and next steps.

PMP® SINCE 2015

Project Management Practice

Longstanding project management practitioner with experience building PMOs, leading programs, and developing project professionals.

EXECUTIVE PERSPECTIVE

Across the Organization

Experience as a CEO, product leader, advisor, operator, and board member working across teams, executives, clients, and stakeholders.

Your instructor

Learn project management from someone who has led the work

Laquisha Milner, PMP®

PMI Authorized Instructor · Founder & Managing Partner, M2 Business Group

Laquisha Milner brings more than two decades of experience leading products, programs, operations, and complex organizational initiatives. Her background includes building PMOs, leading enterprise programs, managing cross-functional teams, serving as a CEO and board member, and advising organizations on how strategy, people, technology, operations, and governance need to work together to achieve business outcomes.

She has held her PMP® since 2015, completed PMI's instructor qualification requirements, and is a PMI Authorized Instructor. She brings an operator's perspective into the classroom, connecting PMI concepts to the decisions, tradeoffs, stakeholders, constraints, and delivery challenges project professionals encounter at work.

Her perspective comes from having sat on nearly every side of the table a project manager has to navigate: delivery, product, technology, operations, executive leadership, clients, and boards.

Questions

What buyers usually want to know

How many people do we need for a private cohort?

Six or more participants can run as a private cohort for your organization. If you have fewer than six, contact us. We can discuss shared-cohort opportunities or the best path based on your timing.

Should our employees pursue PMP or CAPM?

That depends on each person's experience and certification goals. We can help you determine which path is appropriate for your participants before the cohort is finalized.

Can you train our team on-site?

Yes. On-site training is available, and live online delivery is available nationwide. We will scope the delivery format that works best for your organization.

How flexible is scheduling?

Private cohorts are scheduled around your team's operating calendar. Depending on availability, training can be structured across consecutive days, split weeks, evenings, or weekend-based formats.

What is included in the training?

Participants receive official PMI course materials, PMI's practice exam, live instructor-led training, the required education hours for the applicable certification path, application guidance, and completion documentation. Organizations receive cohort coordination, roster management, completion reporting, and one point of contact.

Does the training satisfy PMI's education requirement?

The course is delivered through M2 Business Group as a PMI Authorized Training Partner and is structured to provide the required education hours for the applicable certification path.

Why does PMI Authorized Training Partner status matter for PMP® training?

M2 Business Group is a PMI Authorized Training Partner and delivers PMI-developed instructor-led PMP® training. Beginning December 1, 2026, PMI requires live instructor-led PMP® training used toward the 35-hour application requirement to be delivered through an approved provider pathway, including PMI Authorized Training Partners.

Is the certification exam included?

No. PMI exam fees are paid directly to PMI and are separate from the M2 training engagement. Confirm current exam and membership pricing directly with PMI.

Can you provide a quote, W-9, certificate of insurance, or vendor documentation?

Yes. We can provide a formal quote, W-9, certificate of insurance, invoice, and vendor onboarding documentation as required by your organization.

What happens after participants finish the course?

Participants leave with the required education hours, course materials, practice resources, completion documentation, and a clear path for their certification application and exam preparation.

Are sessions recorded?

No. The training is delivered live. We discuss attendance expectations during scheduling so participants can protect the time required to complete the course.

Do you guarantee participants will pass the exam?

No. We do not guarantee exam results, and buyers should be cautious of providers that do. We provide authorized instruction, official PMI materials, practice resources, and a structured path toward certification preparation.

Does M2 provide project management support beyond certification training?

Yes. M2 also works with organizations on project management capability, PMO effectiveness, governance, operating structure, and broader delivery needs. Tell us what you are trying to accomplish and we can determine whether a broader engagement makes sense.

Business Case

More than exam preparation

Certification is an important outcome, but the organizational value goes further. A team learning from a common project management framework can bring greater consistency to how work is planned, communicated, governed, and delivered.

Professional Development

Give employees a structured development path tied to a widely recognized professional credential.

Stronger Project Capability

Reinforce a common foundation for planning, stakeholder management, risk, communication, delivery, and accountability.

Greater Team Consistency

Employees learn from the same project management framework and can bring common language and practices back into the work.

Flexible Delivery

Schedule training around your organization's priorities rather than forcing your team to work around a public course calendar.

Need internal approval? We've made the business case easier to share.
Use this ready-to-send email to explain the training, organizational value, delivery model, and purchasing requirements to your approver.

Need a quote, W-9, certificate of insurance, or invoice before anyone can approve? Email connect@m2businessgroup.com and we'll respond within one business day.

Working With M2

What to expect when you engage M2

Once we understand your training needs, M2 provides a clear written proposal covering scope, participant count, delivery format, timing, and cost. We also provide the documentation your procurement or finance team requires to move forward.

From conversation to proposal

We start with a focused conversation about your team and training goals, then provide a written quote covering group size, certification path, delivery method, and proposed timing. Quotes are valid for thirty days unless otherwise stated.

We can supply a W-9, formal quote on letterhead, certificate of insurance, invoice, and vendor onboarding documentation as required.

Scheduling and changes

Your private cohort is scheduled for your organization. Rescheduling and cancellation terms are documented in the engagement agreement so expectations are clear before training begins.

If M2 needs to reschedule, your organization may select new dates at no additional training cost or receive a refund of amounts paid for the affected engagement.

Training is delivered live, and attendance expectations are confirmed during scheduling so participants can protect the time required to complete the course.
