Why it matters where you train

Not all PMP training counts the same

Only PMI Authorized Training Partners can deliver PMI's official instructor-led course content. That difference shows up in what you learn, what you receive, and whether your hours are accepted without question.

01

Official PMI content

You learn from the same PMI-developed curriculum built for the current exam — delivered through PMI's own Partner Platform, not a third-party summary of it.

02

Pre-approved PDUs

PDU claims made against a course delivered by an Authorized Training Partner are accepted by PMI automatically, without audit.

03

A badged instructor

Your instructor has completed PMI's Train-the-Trainer program and holds a current PMI instructor badge for this course. Verifiable, not claimed.

Starting in late Q4 2026, PMI will accept live PMP training hours only when the course is delivered by an Authorized Training Partner or an eligible accredited academic program. Hours earned in this course qualify now — and after that change takes effect.

Laquisha Milner, PMP®

PMI Authorized Instructor · M2 Business Group

Laquisha Milner is a fintech leader known for driving growth, operational transformation, and product innovation. Her career spans leadership in product development, operational process improvement, and strategic partnerships — helping fintech companies scale and execute with precision.

She was appointed to lead a fintech spin-off post-acquisition, where she crafted the corporate strategy, stabilized operations, and guided the company through a complex transition. That work is the reason this course isn't abstract: the exam tests judgment under real constraints, and every concept gets connected to a project that actually happened.

She has completed PMI's Train-the-Trainer program and holds a current PMI instructor badge for the PMP® Exam Prep course.

How registration works

  1. Complete the form below. This does not charge you anything.
  2. You'll receive a deposit link by email within 24 hours.
  3. Your seat is held once the $300 deposit is received. The deposit is applied toward your tuition and is used to purchase your official PMI course materials.
  4. Payment in full is due 10 days before your cohort begins. Seats not paid in full by that date are released to the waiting list, and the deposit is forfeited. Each cohort's exact date is listed above.
  5. Every cohort runs with a minimum of 6 students and is confirmed on that same date. If we don't reach minimum, your deposit is refunded in full or applied to another cohort — your choice. The deposit is otherwise non-refundable; please read our policy below before you pay.

The PMP exam fee is paid directly to PMI and is not included in tuition. PMI membership typically reduces that fee by more than the cost of membership — check current pricing at pmi.org.

Why we ask for your PMI.org email: your course materials are delivered through PMI's Partner Platform and tied to your PMI account. A mismatched email is the most common reason a student can't access materials on day one. Don't have an account? It's free to create at pmi.org.
If you don't have a PMI.org account yet, use your preferred email and create a free account before class.
If yes, we'll send an invoice and W-9 with your confirmation.
Questions

Before you register

Am I eligible to take the PMP?

The PMP requires documented project leadership experience in addition to the 35 education hours, and how much depends on your level of education. Confirm the current requirements at pmi.org before enrolling.

We can explain the requirements and help you interpret them against your own background. PMI requires that you write your own experience descriptions on the application.

Is the exam fee included?

No. The PMP exam fee is paid directly to PMI when you apply, and it isn't part of tuition. PMI membership generally reduces the exam fee by more than membership costs, so it's worth joining before you register for the exam. Check current pricing at pmi.org.

What if I have to miss a session?

PMI requires live attendance for these hours to count, and sessions are not recorded. If you know in advance that you'll miss a day, talk to us before you register — the next cohort may be a better fit.

Do I need to buy anything else?

No. Your official PMI student kit, courseware, and practice exam questions are included in tuition and delivered to your PMI account.

What happens if the class doesn't fill?

Every cohort runs with a minimum of six students and is confirmed 10 days before it begins. If we don't reach minimum, you receive a full refund of your deposit or first seat in the next cohort — whichever you prefer.

Will I pass the exam?

We can't promise that, and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. What we can tell you is that you'll finish with all 35 required contact hours, the official PMI materials, PMI's own practice questions, and a clear plan for submitting your application and scheduling your exam.

When do I have to pay in full?

Payment in full is due 10 days before your cohort begins — each cohort's exact date is listed in the Upcoming section. The $300 deposit holds your seat until then and is applied toward your tuition. Seats not paid in full by that date are released, because that is when we purchase course materials for confirmed students.

If splitting the balance into two payments would make this work for you, ask before you register — we would rather arrange that up front than lose you over timing.

Can my employer pay?

Yes, and many do. Indicate it on the registration form and we'll send an invoice, W-9, or a formal quote — whatever your finance or L&D team needs. If several people at your organization are pursuing the PMP, ask about group rates and private cohorts.

Not sure how to ask? We've written the request for you — see the sample email below.

Funding

Ask your employer to cover it

Most companies have a professional development budget and it often goes unspent. The request usually succeeds when it's framed around what the organization gets — not what you get. Here are the four points that tend to land, and an email you can send today.

It's a capability investment, not a perk

The PMP® is the most widely recognized project management credential. Training a team member in a common framework means clearer status reporting, better risk identification, and fewer projects that quietly slip.

The window is closing

From late Q4 2026, PMI accepts live PMP training hours only from an Authorized Training Partner or an eligible accredited academic program. Funding it now avoids a narrower and likely more expensive market later.

Zero disruption to work

Sessions run Friday evening and two weekends. No PTO, no missed deadlines, no coverage to arrange. The company funds the training and loses no working hours.

Verifiable quality

Official PMI course content delivered by an Authorized Training Partner, taught by a PMI-badged instructor. Both credentials are independently verifiable — useful for anyone who has to justify the spend.

Sample email to your manager  ·  fill in anything in [brackets]
Subject: Request to fund PMP® certification training Hi [Manager], I’d like to request funding for a PMP® Exam Prep course running in September. I’ve outlined the cost and the business case below. What it is A 35-hour PMP® Exam Prep course delivered by M2 Business Group, a PMI Authorized Training Partner, using official PMI course content. It provides the full education requirement I need to sit for the PMP exam. Why it’s worth funding • The PMP is the standard credential for project management. Applying a common framework to our work would improve how we scope, report status, and surface risk earlier. • PMI is changing its requirements: starting in late Q4 2026, live PMP training hours will only count if delivered by an Authorized Training Partner or an eligible accredited academic program. Funding this now is ahead of a narrowing market. • It requires no time away from work. Sessions run one Friday evening and two weekends, so there is no PTO, no coverage needed, and no impact on current deadlines. • I’ll bring the material back to the team — I’m glad to run a short internal session on what applies most directly to our projects. Cost and dates Tuition: [amount] — registration deadline [date] Dates: [cohort dates], live online Note: this is training only. The PMI exam fee is separate and paid directly to PMI. The provider can supply an invoice, W-9, or formal quote in whatever format finance needs. If others on the team are interested, group rates are available. Happy to discuss. Could you let me know by [date] so I can secure the rate? Thanks, [Your name]

Cancellation & refunds

Our policy

Your seat is held with a deposit, and your PMI course materials are purchased in your name once the cohort is confirmed. Because those materials are non-refundable and non-transferable once issued, our policy is tied to those dates.

The $300 deposit

The deposit is non-refundable. It reserves your seat in a cohort capped at 14, is applied in full toward your tuition, and is used to purchase your official PMI course materials — which PMI does not permit us to refund, credit, or reassign once issued. The only exception is below: if we don't run the cohort, your deposit is returned in full.

If you withdraw

  • More than 10 days before your cohort begins — any tuition balance you've paid is refunded in full. The $300 deposit is not refunded, but you may transfer it to another cohort within 12 months.
  • Within 10 days of your cohort's first session — no refund or transfer is available. Your PMI course materials have been purchased and assigned to you at that point, and PMI does not permit them to be refunded, credited, or reassigned to another person.
  • If payment in full is not received by the deadline for your cohort — your seat is released to the waiting list and the deposit is forfeited. We will email you before that happens.
  • Non-attendance — missing sessions does not qualify for a refund. Sessions are live and are not recorded, as PMI requires live attendance for contact hours to count.

If we cancel

Every cohort runs with a minimum of 6 students and is confirmed 10 days before it begins. If we don't reach minimum, or if we cancel for any other reason, you receive a full refund including your deposit — or first seat in the next cohort. Your choice, no conditions.
